Hi, I’m Ruiyang (Ree). My work sits at the intersection of technology and art, with a primary interest in AI for Creativity and 3D generation.
Currently, I am an AI & Graphics Researcher at Style3D Research specializing in garment modeling. I received my Ph.D. from ShanghaiTech University Visual Intelligent Center in July 2023, supervised by Prof. Jingyi Yu, and my B.S. from Dalian University of Technology under Prof. Prof. Xin Fan.
Beyond research, I write movie scripts and work on street photography sometimes.

From 2022 - 2023, I worked on cloud native neural rendering engine in Pixel Labs, Tencent America.

In 2021, I spend a wonderful time with RunwayML team, researching on interactive video stylization.
R&D Intern
Between 2015-2016, I worked as a R&D intern in MSRA IEG group working on .NET migration of facial detection recognition models used by Azure Cognitive Services.
SWE Intern
In 2019, I joined Google as an SWE Intern experimenting with TuNAS on gating task, and working on testing environment optimization.
